LG announces largest 97-inch and smallest 42-inch OLED TVs ahead of CES 2022


LG has announced its range of new OLED TV models yesterday, just a day before the start of CES 2022 on January 4. This lineup includes LG’s largest 97-inch OLED TV to the smallest 42-inch OLED TV. LG’s new OLED TV models are equipped with the company’s A9 processor, which has been claimed to deliver improved performance. Additionally, LG’s new TV range features the company’s “Evo” panel in both the LG G2 OLED and LG C2 OLED TV series, which is said to offer improved brightness and better thermal management.

The South Korean tech company has announced new G2 OLED models and C2 models under LG’s 2022 OLED TV lineup. The LG G2 OLED TV model is available in the largest OLED option in the G series at 97 inches. While the C2 models get a 42-inch model, which is also smaller than LG’s current 48-inch OLED TV model. According to LG, both the G and C series have thinner bezels than the G1 OLED and C1 OLED TVs.

Let us tell you, LG’s new G2 OLED TV lineup includes size options of 97 inches, 83 inches, 77 inches, 65 inches and 55 inches. On the other hand, the C2 OLED TV series includes size options of 83 inches, 77 inches, 65 inches, 55 inches, 48 ​​inches and 42 inches.

The company has also announced the new Mini-LED QNED TV range, which offers better contrast than the company’s LCD range, while also offering better brightness than the traditional LED display in this new range. The QNED90 models and high QNED models are certified for 100% color consistency and come with LG’s Precision Dimming technology.

The company also revealed that the panels in its 2022 OLED lineup are certified by TUV Rheinland and Underwriters Laboratories, providing flicker-free and glare-free operation, respectively.
