A PayWold report by Taiwan-based publication DigiTimes said, “VCM suppliers do not see any reduction in new iPhone orders. VCM (voice coil motor) and other component suppliers have a similar opinion, according to industry sources.” Shipments for the next generation of Apple’s iPhone SE series are expected to launch in the first half of 2022.”
Earlier, trusted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had said that the upcoming iPhone SE will be similar to the current iPhone SE 2020 model. It is expected to retain the 4.7-inch display, Touch ID home button and thick bezels. The only significant change in the iPhone SE 2022 could be the new processor that will support 5G connectivity.
This upcoming mid-ranger from Apple could be the last iPhone to be equipped with an LCD screen with 3GB of RAM. While rumors are also doing the rounds about the 2023 iPhone SE which is expected to be based on the design of the iPhone XR, with a bigger display and 4GB of RAM.
Regarding the iPhone SE 2022, it can only be speculated that it can be launched in early 2022. But no indication has been given by Apple about this yet. Therefore this news cannot be considered as absolute truth.
